How do I install Dial-Up Networking in Win 95/98?

To install the Dial-Up Networking component in Windows 95 or 98, do the following:

Double-click My Computer.

Double-click Control Panel.

Double-click Add/Remove Programs.

Click the Windows Setup tab.

Click to check Communications. Click OK.

Be sure the Windows CD is in the drive, and/or the correct installation folder is selected. If you are prompted to select a drive or folder, select the location of the Windows cabinet files (*.CAB).

After the system is finished copying files, you will be prompted to restart the computer. Click Yes. The system will restart, initializing the Dial-Up Networking components, and a new connection may be created.
